Loose dirt is only part of the problem. Fine dust and sand work their way between fibers and settle near the carpet backing, where they act like sandpaper every time someone steps on the floor. Over months this grinds fibers down and dulls the color long before any visible stain shows up.

Spilled drinks, melted ice from coolers, and mud from field or job-site boots add a second layer: sticky residue that attracts and holds even more dust once it dries.

We check carpet dryness risk (mildew potential in a closed cab), test an inconspicuous spot for colorfastness, and look for staining that's set versus fresh. Older, set-in stains from things like coffee or motor oil may lighten significantly but are not always guaranteed to disappear completely.

We pre-vacuum to remove loose grit, apply a carpet-safe pre-treatment to break down soil and oils, agitate high-traffic zones, then hot-water extract with a machine that injects and immediately pulls back cleaning solution and dirty water together.

Floor mats are typically pulled and cleaned separately since they take the brunt of daily foot traffic and often need heavier agitation than the fixed carpet.

Extraction leaves carpet damp, not soaked. With windows cracked or doors open in Fresno's dry heat, carpet is usually dry within a few hours to same-day; humid winter mornings can take longer. Avoid closing up the car tightly until it's dry to prevent musty odor.

If odor is the primary complaint rather than visible soil, pair this with odor removal since smell often lives in padding beneath the carpet, not the fibers on top. If staining is severe and widespread across seats and door panels too, a deep interior cleaning covers the whole cabin instead of just floors for better value.
